the Old with the new

Today is the first day of autumn, the best season without a doubt! While everything else is turning for fall, I am growing something new. My very first blog! As you can see, I have already started posting this month. So please read on! Comments are always welcome!

Earlier this week I posted some of my latest finds from a thrift store in Redlands. Today I want to share how I gave those treasures a home alongside my other favorite things. I think the most inspiring spaces are a mix of the old with the new.

Although I have toyed with the idea of blogging from my bathtub, my desk is a much more practical place to work, not to mention waterproof!

aimee - Candice! thanks for stopping by! most of the pictures on my blog were taken with the 5D Mark II. It’s an amazing camera! there is a 7D coming out soon that’s supposed to be really good and actually less expensive! hope that helps!
