Call me {cook}

After hanging out with my newly married friend Marina, she inspired me to start cooking! Awhile back, Troy & I were walking the isles at Barnes and Nobles, and came across some Trader Joe’s cookbooks. Since then, we have heard nothing but good things about the books, so we decided to buy one. We may be a little behind on this new trend…but it has changed our lives this week! The other night I made my first home-made chicken pot pie – and we have been savoring the left overs! If you’re a new cook, you’ve got to give Trader Joe’s a try!

aimee - YUUUUUMMMM! When I get home I am gonna try those!!!

marina nichols - oh yes, and the southwest burritos literally take 5 minutes. and they’re outrageously tasty.

aimee - That is so cool! I am wanting to try that tortilla soup :) The Go Go Mango chicken was easy & delish! Let me know what else you try!!

Jessica Lindsey - so I got the tj’s companion cookbook for christmas. I LOVE IT. I made the tortilla soup last night. AMAZING. I added some more veggies to mine, like zucchini, carrots, and mushrooms. It made it more filling.
Then tonight I made the curry. It was super good too. Although…it was better when I added salt and cinnamon.
Okay, I’ll stop there. But if you cant tell, I am uber excited about this cookbook. Let me know when else you make from it. xxx P.S love your BLOG!

aimee - Thanks for the inspiration Marina!

marina nichols - this cook book has changed my life! every new wife’s saving grace.
