Balboa Island Tresures.

This Saturday, my neighbor Lydia & I vowed to wake up at 6am and conquer the much anticipated Balboa Island garage sale. I went to bed early & work up bright eyed & bushy tailed. We started our morning off with a quick trip to Starbucks & some fresh baked treats from the Cinnamon Roll Fair.

Then we shopped shopped shopped! Here are a few photos of my early morning finds!

Above: three white shadow boxes ($1 each), a rustic teacup ($1), a Timeworks clock ($5), an antique soap dish ($3), a fun Spanish style tray ($4). I also found a great rug & outdoor table (not pictured). It was a very successful garage sale day!

I love the details on this antique soap dish!

When I saw this little chicken wire tea cup I thought it would be a great planter. I lined the inside of the cup with moss & potted an ivy plant inside. I love how it turned out!

aimee - Lauren – What a bummer! The Balboa Island garage sale was pretty much island wide..with a garage sale in the alley ways about every couple of houses! We only did about 6 blocks…but we could have been there all day!

lauren - you found some great stuff! i got up early with my bf for donuts and garage sale-ing too… we weren’t as lucky though, i sadly came home empty handed:( was the balboa island garage sale like one of those big neighborhood ones? if not i definitely need to give it a try!

Kodi - So. Started drooling when I saw the cinnamon rolls. And then scrolled down, and kept drooling at all your beautiful finds.

Jessica West Judkins - wow! nice finds, cant wait to see how you use them

Annie - Great finds! I adore that clock and soap dish. Thanks for posting!

mmm…I am craving cinnamon rolls now. I have to go find a recipe….. :)

aimee - Aw thanks Megan! That means a LOT!

Meagan - Aimee – I’ve come to look forward to your posts! Your blog is TOO adorable :)
